Photos are an important part of a listing as they can really help generate interest and exchange offers.  We have upgraded our website to allow up to 10 photos with each web listing.  In line with this, the charging system has also changed (downwards rather than upwards!). A single photo is still included in the basic membership package, but a single additional payment of £10 allows members to upload a further 9 photos to their web listing(s).

Photo upload

Go into the main database area of the website and click on 'edit my listing', you will see a new button called 'edit photo album'.  If you click on this you will see any photos that are currently showing on your web listing and be able to delete them if you wish.  (Please note that only you can see the 'delete' button beneath each photo).

If you wish to load further photos, click on the 'Browse' button and this will take you to the hard disk of your PC, select the image you wish to load and click on 'Upload the photo file'.  The photo should then appear.  Please note that the image must be a) less than 1MB in size, b) in jpeg format and c) not very tall and thin.  If any of these criteria are not met, you will need to reformat your image using photographic software.  If you have any trouble, just email the images to me and I'll do this for you.

You can also add captions beneath each image, just type the required text in the box and click on the floppy disk icon to save the text.

If you wish to re-order your photos, you can do so using the arrow keys beneath each photo.  Please note that the printers automatically copy the first image for use in the printed directory when the books are being prepared, so make sure you're happy with your first image.

If you wish to add further images and your renewal is imminent, just complete the form highlighting additional photos and send it with the appropriate payment.  Otherwise, get in touch and I will send you an e-invoice for £10, or alternatively just send a cheque for £10 to our Winchester address.  On receipt, I will make the necessary adjustments to your listing and send you an email when complete.
